After weeks of anticipation, we're very excited that Historically Speaking is finally seeing the light of day.  Presently, there's not much here.  But we're hoping with time and your help, Historically Speaking will become an interesting and engaging medium through which to share and discuss information related to the program and the history discipline.

Before you poke around too much, we encourage you to check out our About page to gain a better sense of Historically Speaking's aims and spirit.  In an attempt to streamline the blog, the homepage will contain news- and discussion-oriented posts, while continuously updated information on current and former students, professors, and upcoming events can be located through the horizontal navigation bar at the top of the page.  In the front page hopper this week are updates on the construction of the city-based Museum of the American Revolution, a review of the annual PhD Scareathon, and a few other surprises.
