Help Wanted: Assistance Hiring a Historian of Modern China

Source: NPR
The department is in the process of hiring a faculty member with a background in modern Chinese history. In the coming weeks, the four selected historians will visit campus, meet with professors and students, and present their research.  Students are invited to assist in the hiring process by attending the candidates' presentations and providing feedback to current faculty.  While all students are strongly encouraged to attend, those on funding should make an especially earnest effort to attend at least two presentations.

Please see below for presentation days and times.  Since it is department policy to avoid publicly disclosing the identities of candidates, their names, backgrounds, and presentation titles have been omitted.  Candidate and presentation details will be emailed and posted on fliers around the department, though, so keep an eye out next time you're on campus.
